In December, 2016 while in the process of a nasty divorce, my not quite 4 year old daughter, Amirah came home from her week of shared parenting with her father with what appeared to be blood in her vaginal area. When I mentioned the word blood, she competely freaked out, slammed her legs together and said she didn't want to go to the hospital and she didn't want to be "punished" (a word I'd never heard her use before.
I write you this extensive email with hopeful anticipation that it will ultimately inspire diligence, convey a snipit view of our story, while conveying our perceptions or versions of a situation. This of course is always different than the picture that the welfare system portrays of the families it chooses to kidnap Children from(any story can be viewed differently depending on who is sharing it- theres, ours, whomever, and Gods ) I encourage open-mindedness and humbly ask for your forthright efforts in Expediting a full blown investigation into the Child welfare system, Childnet, BSO, Dependency Court, and its Affiliates here in Broward County.
